Sunday, April 21, 2024 - I know and love this wine but this 1.5 liter bottle was not up to Clos des Papes usual standards.Tannins not fully integrated, dark fruits muted. Decanted about 3 hours. I think it needed more air rather than time in the bottle. Next (and last) large format I’ll decant overnight.
