Saturday, April 13, 2024 - Much better than my first bottle. At opening, vibrant plum and interesting bouquet. Some bricking, deep red, significant tears/legs. Decided not to decant beforehand. Decanted at moment of drinking which was fine. Complex, lightly stewed plum with some structure; very slight sweetness, possibly helped by 10% of merlot in assemblage. Like a top bordeaux with an iberian/tinto fino/tempranillo twist. Excellent.
