78 Points

Friday, November 8, 2013 - Popped and tasted over 2 hours before I gave up. Shimmering dark ruby color, 60% saturated, light and clear legs. Very reserved nose of sage brush, currant, some azalea. Light body, thin and watery, low acidity, and no tannins to speak of. Somewhat vapid until a rush of alcohol carries some actual Pinot typicity into the hot finish. So little flavor, it contradicts the dark appearance. Not flawed, just lacking a lot in terms of intensity and fruit character. 4+7+12+5 = 78
