Sunday, November 10, 2019 - Opened tonight because of how much I enjoyed 2010 Taillepieds a few weeks ago. This Pitures was not quite as bright, but also denser and meatier. Floral nose is classically Volnay, followed by red and black fruit, all with an elegant and refined tannic structure. Good now, certainly in its peak drinking window, but this will continue to evolve and be good to enjoy at least through 2030.
