Thursday, September 6, 2018 - Couple of hours of decant time, this has a spectacular nose of dark fruit and wood, along with a strong menthol tinge. The palate is extracted and big, with deep tannins and a backbone of acidity that holds up to the tannic structure. There is a savory element that comes out with time in the glass. A big mouthfeel and very long finish are what you are left with as a reminder you just drank an Aussie cab.
