Thursday, November 25, 2021 - Unbelievable nose of cassis, black cherry, old cigar box with a dusting of ancient tobacco at the bottom, oregano rubbed on roasting game. Sublime palate of blackcurrant, red currant and licorice with vibrant, almost dancing acidity and incredibly fine integrated tannins. Enchanting, lingering and glowing finish of leather, stewed fruit and warm Tuscan earth. Just… stunning. 95 with upside(!)
