Wednesday, January 17, 2024 - Decanted and had a taste.
On the nose: earth, dried mushroom, and a bit of spice lift, not much fruit
Palate: acid but tannic, not resolved. Very earthy
Color: semi translucent ruby, light brown tinge

Opening up to smoky cherry on palate and a few hours later, still needs time but the mushroom scent has faded. After 2 hours got more perfumed, just a touch of raspberry and spiced cranberry with herbs. Nice perfume now but a bit of heat is coming through.

Overall very enjoyable but still needs more time to really shine I suspect.
