Friday, March 17, 2017 - Clear ruby color. Fig fruit aromas with full secondary accents of mushroom, smoked paprika, hibiscus, and damp cedar. Opens on the palate with fig and apple skin fruit, medium in its intensity, and spice and earth-driven depth consistent with those on the nose, highlighted by a subtle floral-mineral note. Round and rich density to the mid-palate, with medium acid and silky tannins. Medium finish with saline and savory spice notes. Drinking very well. Very nice.
