Friday, July 19, 2019 - Enjoyed with charcoal grilled chicken and asparagus. Did not decant. Took about a half hour to begin to open up. Light color and opacity. Light bodied initially, but closer to medium 90 minutes in. Nice acidity and complexity. Floral aromas with strawberry and spices. Maybe a bit of cinnamon, wonderful flavors of cherry, strawberry, but of citrus, baking spices and a touch of tea. Much more going on here but too much for me to express. Not really a Burgundy fan but this makes me more so. I’d better get a few more for the cellar.
