Thursday, February 12, 2015 - Fairly austere -- for a Napa cab, and certainly for one from this vintage. Dry tannins and acid are at the moment fully dominant over the fruit. I expect this will come into better balance over 3-4 years, but even on the second night it was a bit reedy and tight. Just not a totally pleasing package.
