Monday, August 29, 2016 - AP 16 12. Already turning a beautiful gold color. Significantly less acid than the 2010 bottling of the same wine, but somehow the completely different proportion between fruit, botrytis, and acidity doesn't come across as saccharine like many 2011 high-pradikat wines. Instead this is a calm, transcendental raisin elixir contrasted to the muscular, seething electricity of 2010. It will be glorious to watch these two develop over the years, as the two vintages couldn't be more different, but both products quite successful.
