Sunday, June 14, 2020 - Cloudy appearance. Open from the moment the cork was pulled. Showed a bit of green and herbaceousness on the nose, and while “interesting” not sure I found it “good”. Dark cherry favors, even a hint of cola. Spice notes add depth. Long finish.
Typically I find the alpine bottles to be very pure and focused—didn’t get that impression on this bottle. Less impressed than my bottle last year.
