Thursday, December 29, 2022 - It seems this wine is on its downward side. Not a bad wine but nothing special at this point either. This is the second bottle this year that is showing mostly acidity at this point with some tertiary notes. Not the ethereal complexity and interest I hope for in classic Rioja Gran Reserva wines. A bit of a disappointment as I was hoping this would last considerably longer. With these 98s, I say drink em if you got em.
