Saturday, October 20, 2012 - Saturday Tasting Group (Knightsbridge Wine Shop (Northbrook, IL)): Really loved this wine. Stood out amongst the rest as far as being really eccentric on the nose.
Awesome caramel corn. So big and unique. Buttery red road tar, tomato soup. Creamy nose with red cotton candy and some funky earth and white pepper.
Coconut oil qualities, yellow corn and Miso Ramen even. So exotic. Blood orange on the back end. Aromatics were endless. Tropical notes even. So cool.
Palate was fresh and balanced. This wine was killer.
