Wednesday, December 30, 2015 - This needed air and a couple days in the fridge to round into shape, then, really excellent. It added a bunch of weight from the first day, but more importantly a tremendous line of sour fruit that runs right up the middle all the way to the finish. It is creamy in a good way, lots of spice, tart orchard fruits, nice hint of reduction. Broadly framed but so inviting with that tart line that pulls everything in. This reminds me of a very nice 1er, rich, but plenty of structure and finesse.
