After some more time and palate-coating, it started to open up just a bit, but I feel like this just didn't do its thing while I drank it and never really opened up into something delicious. Regardless, the finish was weak and didn't have the stuff it takes to be a great wine. I got hosed for the $60 I spent on this (marked down from $75!!). Burgundy can be great when it's on, or just okay when it's not. This was not on...still better than most pinots I drink though...but definitely not worth the cash. F that. I'm out.
