Saturday, March 23, 2013 - Popped and poured. Pale straw colour with slight green tinge. Pleasant nose with hints of pears, melon, banana and a little spice. The tropical flavours recede somewhat on the palate and give way to notes of lemon and lime. Good weight, but slightly diluted flavour-wise. Could also have done with a bit more acidity. Pleasant enough, but in my book this is sound weekday quality – not a 90+ wine as some would have it.
