Friday, June 4, 2010 - Pinot Noir Tasting - France, NZ, Australia (G&E's, Melbourne): Had as part of France/Australia/NZ Pinot Noir tasting dinner. It had the most on the nose of the first flight, and was clearly the French wine. Still has lots of life (especially for a 20 yr old Pinot). Very savoury, leathery, gamey. Revealed rich bacon-fat on the nose after time in glass. Awesome nose after 1hr in glass.
