Friday, February 22, 2013 - No formal notes. Had by the glass. Nose is primary made of blackberries, cassis and redberries, smoke. On palate it's remarkably smooth - I was expecting strong tanins -, fresh, balanced, with red fruit, medium bodied and a long finish, which is just a little bit dry. Temperature is critical, as initially and seems better to cool it down a bit and let it grow, otherwise initially it becomes a bit harsh on palate. (92-93)
