Sunday, April 4, 2010 - Brick red. Vinous nose of cherry and talc with hints of licorice. Similar profile on the palate with some spice and faint tarry notes. Unexpectedly feminine at first, but fleshed out and grew muscular over a couple hours. Maybe a hint of VA but otherwise a nice surprise.
