Tuesday, February 11, 2014 - At home over three nights. Dark garnet, translucent. The aroma is identifiable as pinot noir, but more on the black fruit spectrum, deep and dark. Definitely New World style. Medium-full bodied flavors, coat the palate with richness and nice balance. Slightly hot aftertaste. This is quite nice but we prefer the more complex and Burgundian style of Walter Hansel, at about 60% of the price of this wine.
