Wednesday, May 24, 2017 - The Rotating Dinners, II.1: Rhys, 2008-10 (Chicago, IL): I feel as if this wine suffers from the California pinot syndrome of candied red fruit and a body that is too thin for the sweetness. The tannins here also show a little grainy and there's a green note as well that isn't too pleasant. Perhaps some time will fill this out?
