Friday, March 22, 2013 - Burgundy 2008 vs. 2010: Light crimson with some purple. In the nose, this is dark fruity with elderberry, wild raspberry and cherry. Very elegant and seductive as well as complex. On the palate, it's extremely dark with - again - lots of elderberry, but also light overtones of red currant. Light in the finish with strong tannins and a light, nice bitter note. Excellent stuff, much better than the 2008.
