Tuesday, December 25, 2012 - Thrilling nose of cherries, crannberries, earth, white pepper and pine forest. The palate lacked in fruit and was devoid of any liveliness, a tad harsh too. After a few hours the wine softened and picked up a pleasant more balanced taste, feel and ended with a pleasant long woody spicy finish. Certainly a domestic pinot made in the style I enjoy.
