Wednesday, February 20, 2013 - Decent, but not outstanding. I think that I'd been overly excited by the Lot18 writeup. Bit of musty nose, fruit present at taste, slightly tannic, modest overall balance. I seem to remember even more exciting wines when I was in Capetown, so I may also be comparing to the wrong standard. So, not a bad buy, but not over the top either.
