Wednesday, July 25, 2012 - Oh my God. This is fantastic. Stylistically it isn't what one might expect a great Malbec to be but... this is a killer bottle of wine.

Incredibly aromatic, one of the most aromatic reds I have had in awhile. The nose is very floral and has a citrus/grapefruit quality to it. Maybe a hint of pine too? I know grapefruit sounds crazy for a Malbec but, damnit, its there. It smells kinda Sauv Blanc-y. (note: each time I have had this the bottle had been opened several hours prior, and thus likely more aromatic than if popped n poured, but still. the aroma is nuts)

The palate is medium-light bodied with fresh fruit (raspberry notes) a brush of tannin for grip on the finish and, most noticeably, killer, killer acidity.

Super energetic, flavorful and unique Chilean Malbec with wide appeal.
