Sunday, August 21, 2016 - Toasty oak, ripe strawberry, sweet vanilla, blackcherry, white pepper, barnyard funk, hint of developing forest floor, black tea and wet stone like minerality. Still quite a lot air time in glass. Very good acidity, still noticeable tannins to be resolved, good concentration, light on its feet but lack some finess/precision. Overall still an excellent wine now given its complex arrays of seductive flavours.
