Thursday, December 25, 2014 - Received this wine at an office raffle. Don't know much about brunello, so wasn't sure what to expect. Opened and poured a glass then let the bottle and glasses sit for an hour before consuming the rest. First glass had a gorgeous ruby color and soft legs, shy fruity nose with a little vanilla and...rose? The tannins seemed to get stronger as we let it sit, which surprised me. Complex on the palate with both high and low notes, with the high notes winning out. A very well structured wine but not sure if it is high QPR which is why I only gave it eighty nine.
