Violet and black fruit aromas stand out as the wine sits. Tannins are firm, but fine-grained and silky. Flavors of black cherry, currants and red fruits. Very pretty fruit on the palate that lingers on the finish. Overall this is a very balanced and pretty wine. 93+ pts.
