Monday, November 18, 1985 - The vintage is not as bad as the '56, and the château has tried very hard to make a decent wine. The bouquet is quite fresh, très cabernet (bit severe), but the taste betrayed the modest vintage with too much acidity, a whiff of chaptalisation, noticable tannins and is overall 'fatigue'.
