Saturday, December 19, 2015 - Still deep ruby and floral on the nose, this wine flaunts aromas of lavender, bramble fruits, black pepper and loamy earth. Full-bodied, freshly acidic and with medium-weight, fine-grained tannins, it delivers flavors which mirror the nose, although at this point there is a touch of pruniness on the late mid-palate. The medium-to-long finish now concludes with a whiff of heat from its 16.1% alcohol. Drink now.
