Friday, August 25, 2017 - In-your-face nose of Knorrs beef bouillon cubes (Salt, monosodium glutamate, hydrolyzed soy/corn/wheat gluten protein, hydrogenated cottonseed oil, beef fat, dehydrated vegetables (onions, carrots, parsley), beef extract, water, guar gum, colour, autolyzed yeast extract, disodium guanylate, disodium inosinate, spices, tartaric acid, citric acid, hydrogenated soybean), which cuts right past the maraschino cherries, leather, and fresh cut wood that are also present to lesser degrees. This is a distinctive, high acid, idiosyncratic wine. Was initially put off by the rather odd bouquet, but once I got past that, I found it wasn't all that hard to drink, though the Knorrs is better QPR at $1.67 a box.
