Tuesday, April 9, 2013 - Oh, this wine is good. Very, very good! Quite Bordeaux-like. In fact, blind I reckon I'd definitely think this was left-bank. Dark, rich nose. Nice chocolate and blackberrys. Beautiful oak. In the mouth, a lovely sweetness of fruit, spice and flowers up front, balanced by wonderful depth of acidity and perfect integration of vanilla oak. Drying finish which is very fine and long. Tannins are quite strong at the moment, but this wine is an absolute baby. 1.5 hours of airtime and it's only just opening up. Give this a good few years and it'll be spectacular, guaranteed. 92++
