Saturday, December 2, 2023 - My first ever sparkler from Cali, crafted by well known Champagne producer Louis Roederer who founded this property in 1982. Made from a blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% PN, up to 15% oak-aged reserve wines were added, aged for 2 years on the lees. Pale lemon colour. Medium+ intensity aroma of lemon, smoke, pears, yeast, jasmine. Medium body, mineral, chalky, stony and delicately sweetish with 10 g/l of RS. White fruit flavours with citrusy drops, vinous extra fine mousse and well integrated high acidity.
