Wednesday, November 1, 1995 - 7 Nonvintage Champagnes (Walnut Creek, Ca.): Largest mousse of the night, tiny bubbles, very creamy, more body, lovely finish. My #1 and Group #3.

We believed the store temperature of 70 degrees sapped the energy of these Champagnes. In summer the store temperature is above 70 degrees sometimes. Several of the Champagne labels were faded and the store selected their oldest bottles to open and taste. I stopped tasting and buying wine there.
