Sunday, December 25, 2016 - Pale yellow color with nice effervescence. Bouquet and flavor of citrus with just a hint of toast. Very pleasant acidity with great focus and a moderate finish. Some tasters felt that this wine improved with a little cellar age, and I will keep my other bottles for a year or two. Drunk on Christmas morning along with a Guy-Charlemagne 1996 Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs Brut, which it easily vanquished. The French wine was past its prime.
