Friday, December 12, 2008 - nose: light and lean nose of green apples, citrus tones, breads, and yeasty tones. Decent depth with a straightforward quality to it, but this wasn't doing it for me like it normally does

taste: good light feel, but lacking depth with lemons, green apples, citrusy tones, and a nice amount of bread. Well put together, but again, it just doesn't have that verve to it that has made me enjoy it a lot in the past

overall: very nice and easy. This disgorgement is lacking the depth and focus that I've gotten from Roederer Estate bruts in the past. There isn't that screaming of good chardonnay that it normally brings, it still has a nice citrusy attack, but lacks a bit on the finish
