Wednesday, October 28, 2009 - Huge and robust. Upon first smelling this wine I got a clear nose of scotch-like character. The palate is the closest thing I've ever tasted like sour cherry pie. Extremely exotic with wood and spice character on the nose and palate and a gun powder scent that's quite unique that makes the depth of this wine evolve. This wine is evolving by the minute with berry menthol grace and a sweet tannin backbone. Truly the most complex Shiraz I've ever tasted. This wine has a long life with great potential.
