Monday, June 29, 2015 - Consumed a glass over an hour. There has been some bottle variation (even though it's a screwcap) among these Leeuwin art series chardonnay, and this was a good bottle. Significantly lighter on its feet than others I've had, no doubt benefiting from bottle age and luck. Oak and spice dominates. There is a bit of oomph to it that suggests Australia, but you could easily place it in Burgundy or California as well. Significant minerality, especially on the finish.
