Friday, January 1, 2016 - New Years Even 2015 (Kevin and Vicki's): Drank a glass over about an hour. The nose is rich and full. The palate has a lot to offer. It is a full-bodied chardonany. It also has the lemon oil and acid to give it nice balance and a rich mouthfeel without being over the top. On the finish, there is a harshness that the group decided was excessive spice from the oak. This was a bit off-putting. Other than that, a great chadonnay. I was told by others that this spice resolved itself after a couple hours, but the wine also lot a bit of flavor in the process.
