Friday, April 5, 2013 - Give this one at least an hour decant, preferably two, and it really performs. This is just hitting its peak now so disregard the CT drinking window. There's a perfect balance of fruit, oak, alcohol and tannins on the palate. The acidity level made this a perfect pairing my steak dinner. There is just a touch of lip smacking tannins on the long finish. It's a little sad that the new owners of MS have not stated a desire to continue to make this bottling.
