Monday, January 18, 2016 - An incredible and beautiful wine...at almost 42 years old! From an excellent vintage, the wine still has a deep color with orange nuances on the edge. Powerful nose of leather, tobacco, red berries and barnyard notes on the finish. Very, Very long and extremely balanced. That bottle patiently waited over 40 years in Mondavi's cellar to be enjoyed yesterday. The bottle was in pristine condition, albeit dusty :) At it's peak, but can certainly hold another 10 years.
