Thursday, May 21, 2009 - Popped and poured. Dark purple with no sign of maturity. A beautiful nose of plum, cassis, lead pencil with floral overtones. Massive sweet fruit on the palate of cherry, plum, cassis and currant. Very CA in style which I continue to find in this underrated vintage. Not complex, just delicious. Drink or hold.
