Wednesday, April 14, 2021 - After two disappointing mid-2000s Barolos, this one danced like a champ. Lovely mid-weight nose with floral, earthy and mineral notes (really exploding after a couple of hours) over a very lively fresh palate with mid-weight, good red fruit and a lot of energy. Good long finish. If anything this perhaps is a little tight. Next bottle not to be opened for at least a couple of years. A lot of potential for a much higher score.
