Tuesday, October 2, 2012 - This bottle showed why lesser vintages can give so much pleasure. Opened and splashed in a decanter and drunk over two hours. Tightly wound at first but slowly unfurled to reveal earthy meaty truffle scents . Quite rich on palate with power and reflected the nose with more game and a hint of decay. A gorgeous wine.
