Wednesday, November 22, 2017 - I was surprised by the evenness of this wine. The Okanagon winemaker said not to drink it before 2015 and sure enough, it is rounding into shape as a simple bugt solid cabernet/merlot blend. Not flashy, but well put together and integrated with aging. The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is light sediment in the bottle. It hints pleasantly of dust, forest floor, pine, oak and violet with forest floor on the palate. The body is medium and not full or fatty. The wine finishes medium with medium acidity.
