Sunday, September 20, 2015 - Promising colour, nose is rich w honeyed nuts, toast and grapefruit. Mousse is nice, mouthfeel creamy. On the palate the early phase is excellent w mature, rich Notes of nuts, red and yellow apple, slight minerality and nice but subdued citrus and maybe tropical fruit. Unfortunately, the wine just whimpers out, no lingering worth mentioning-thus no great complexity to lift the spirit. Short-lived but pleasant. Good effort.
