Sunday, May 15, 2016 - About what I would expect from a $15 bottle of wine at nine years of age. The fruit had a bit of a stewed quality to it, with a meatiness and smokiness from the syrah. This is hanging on, rather than "aging", but this exceeded very low expectations.
