Friday, August 19, 2022 - Hard to believe that this BdM is at such a good spot now. Garnet red, with orange dim towards rim. Intense and seductive aroma of sweet dried cherries and plums, tobacco, leather, earth, licorice, nutmeg, dried herbs, smoky cold cuts, camphor hints. Medium body, entry is signed by a bright acidity, mid palate reveals complex and pronounced rainbow of smoky and dried fruit flavours echoing aroma, some funky touches. Concludes with well structured grained tannins without a sign of fading and long smoky finish.
