90 Points

Sunday, May 26, 2013 - Note sure if it was the brooding pre-party Pinot that coated our tongues that night, but this Bosconia (usually a family favorite) just seemed a little dull. Great haunting nose, but suffered from a flaccid finish. Chalking it up to planning the wine order of the evening wrong.

    5/29/2013 1:06:00 AM - Hi there Muredskin14,
When you say family wine, I suppose you are referring to a Reserva range, aren't you?
    This is obviously a GR...
Little confusion or just your family wine is this rare GR? Just curious...
    Cheers!

6/20/2013 10:15:00 AM - thanks for the comment and sorry for the confusion. in reference to a "family favorite" is about my own personal family and that this wine (a GR as correctly pointed out) is one we usually look forward to with great anticipation to drinking around the house which usually becomes a special night. unfortunately this last bottle just didn't quite do it for us like our memories serve

I drink from time to time Bosconia Reserva, rarely GR but have to say that usually this is a consistant value
I adored LdH reds in the past. Still love them but sincerely speaking, today I am kind on their whites.
    Cheers,
